Dear Tannkosh pilots and visitors,

after sleepless nights and lots of considerations as well as intensive talks with our "weatherman" Hans Löffler we have decided to move the date for Tannkosh 2010 to the end of august, because of the following reasons:

during the last couple of years the weather has become more and more extreme and unpredictable in the middle of July. We were very lucky during the last two years that the worst thunderstorms and hail just barely missed us several times - and hope, by moving the date to the end of August, for a nice and sunny Tannkosh Weekend, without thunderstorms and rain, and without having to worry about hail.

We are sure that all of you Tannkosh Veterans will not miss the "Woodstock-Feeling" and the rivers under your tents and wet clothes and mush too much:-) By the end of August we should also be past the biggest summer heatwave, which means the pilots won't have to calculate the density altitude of a mountain airfield for their takeoff-performance...

So we ask for your understanding for moving the Tannkosh date, and hope that we may welcome you to Tannkosh 2010!
